Behaviour Interactive noted in a recent blog post that cross-progression will be available for Dead by Daylight on PC, Stadia and Switch sometime in September. Cross-progression will allow players to share progression, inventory and purchases across platforms starting in September. The studio cannot guarantee the option will be made available on PS4 or Xbox One. “As of today, we cannot make Cross-Progression available on other platforms and we have no guarantee that it will happen,” reads the post. “However, we know that this is a community wish, and we will keep trying to make it happen. “Allowing players to team up with their friends from other platforms was the first step to break barriers between platforms. We know that some of our players are active on several platforms, and Cross-Progression is also one of the top wishes from our community. " Teaming up with friends via cross-play was previously announced as in the works. Cross-friends was also previously announced, and the team is actively preparing to enable both on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. “We are polishing the last details to make sure that it will only impact our game positively. As we are still monitoring the situation and numbers on PC, we cannot give you a specific date for now, but we can definitely say it is coming really soon.” Dead by Daylight’s latest content update was Silent Hill-themed and included the Midwich Elementary School map, Pyramid Head, and Cheryl Mason (Heather).
