Releasing later this week, reviews for Little Nightmares 2 have arrived, and you can have a look at the scores below. The game tells the story of Mono, a young boy trapped in a world “distorted by the humming transmission of a distant Signal Tower.” With Six, the girl in a yellow raincoat from the first game, the duo set out to discover the world’s secrets while trying to outsmart the monstrous residents trying to capture them. In it, you will control Mono, with Six as their computer-controlled companion. The relationship between the two characters will reveal more of the game’s story and provide new gameplay mechanics. At certain points in the game, Mono will also be able to wield a range of items picked up in the environment. There will be times when stealth remains the best option, and there will also be times when you will need to do a bit of thinking to save yourself and Six. If you want to give the game a try before you commit, there’s a demo available on consoles and PC. The game releases on February 11 for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. All scores below are based on ten being the highest unless noted.
