The quest line in the Rito Village is a great one to tackle early, as Vah Medoh is a great Divine Beast to tackle early. I’d recommend doing this either first or second, since getting to it doesn’t require too much difficult combat or specialized equipment. The main thing you’ll need is some warm gear. Speaking with IGN, the directors of the film said the Mega Man film project was still in the works and to expect news on it soon. “We’re super excited about it. I think we’re gonna have some big news about it soon. I can’t say all that much right now, but it’s a project very near and dear to our hearts and we’re psyched," said co-director Henry Joost. Capcom announced Mega Man would be adapted into a live-action film back in 2018 and is to be distributed by 20th Century Fox....

The publisher announced the milestone today, making Warzone 2 amongst the biggest launches ever in Call of Duty history. The original Warzone had 6 million players on its first day, and upped it to 15 million just two days later. It’s not clear how these figures compare to Warzone 2’s, but it’s interesting that Activision picked five days as its new barometer. Nevertheless, 25 million million players in less than week is a milestone worth celebrating....

In a statement, 505 said the last Indivisible update will bring the Switch version up-to-date with the game on other platforms and is expect to arrive on October 13. The firm notes that unreleased IndieGoGo backer rewards such as backer-created and guest characters will not be added to the game. The Ajna statue, a backer reward, is in production, and availability information will be provided soon (thanks, GI.biz). Refunds for those that pre-purchased the Switch physical edition will be refunded as it is no longer in cards....

A Washington Post report indicates the companywide email was sent to Activision Blizzard employees by chief administrative officer Brian Bulatao. The email comes in the wake of employees who are considering forming a union, and have been asked by the media labor union Communications Workers of America (CWA) to sign union cards - which could result in employees voting to go union. The email also comes after a strike fund was created on GoFundMe for Activision Blizzard workers who walked out in protest over the recent redundancies at Raven Software which affected 60 employees....

First, the letter reveals some diversity data on the company that looks like a mixed bag. Highlights include how Activision Blizzard’s percentage of women in its work force is in line with other companies’ reporting at 24%, but that individual companies within the Activision Blizzard umbrella vary wildly. As well, 36% are from an underrepresented ethnic group, which is lower than other companies, which make up 40%. The letter follows up this data with fresh promises on how it will improve representation and close the pay gap....

On December 1, the Mexico civilization will join the game as the “most strategically diverse civilization yet,” according to the AoE3 team. The Mexico civilization DLC will include the Mexican States civilization, and a new scenario unique to the civilization will be added to Historical Battles. The DLC will run you $5.99. Unlike other civilizations in the game, the Mexican States can choose to Revolt instead of advancing to the Fortress, Industrial, or Imperial Ages....

The game is set 23 years after the original Alien trilogy and drops you into the role of a Colonial Marine aboard the USS Endeavor. You are tasked with answering a distress call from the outer colonies. In the game, you’ll enter overrun facilities, abandoned ruins, and traverse strange alien landscapes as you battle enemies across four campaigns with two others or AI teammates through replayable missions....

Some players who bought the Vault Edition of the recent release of Modern Warfare 2 expected that one of the bonuses they’d receive was at least 10 hours of double XP tokens. However, there was a specific caveat to that: to get those double XP tokens, you were meant to buy the special edition of the game via Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, or Vanguard, but enough players seemed to have missed this due to Activision not making it clear....

This Amnesia: Rebirth video is narrated by Salim, one of the marooned crew members of the Cassandra, who gives a bit of a background on the game’s story. After some members of the team leave to look for help, he becomes the only surviving member of those left behind and finds there is some sort of creature lurking around. According to the latest Famitsu numbers, Animal Crossing: New Horizons sold 1.88 million copies at retail in Japan during its first three days on the market. This makes it the best-selling opening weekend ever for a Switch title, a record which was previously held by Pokemon Sword and Shield with 1.3 million in sales (thanks, Nintendo Everything). The Animal Crossing figure represents retail copies, game cards and the Switch bundle only....

According to emails included in Apple’s response to the Epic suit, it was alleged that Epic Games asked for a special arrangement with Apple, which was specifically requested by Epic CEO Tim Sweeney. Apple stated the email, which was sent on June 30, Epic was asking for a deal that would “fundamentally change the way in which Epic offers apps on Apple’s iOS platform,” and to allow the company to “bypass in-app purchases and allow Fortnite players to pay it directly....

Announced at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, replica arcade creator Arcade1Up is giving their range something of a level up with its first ‘Pro Series’ arcade machines - full-size, full-fat cabinet recreations for the truly hardcore. This new line isn’t a replacement for the existing Arcade1Up products, which have now sold nearly 3 million units, but rather a new pillar of the company’s product line-ups. It joins the traditional Arcade1Up machines (smaller three-quarter sized cabinet recreations), the Junior range (even smaller cabinets for kids), the Infinity Game Table (an electronic tabletop which can play digital board games), and Electronic Pinball machines....
