Though you may not have noticed, Doom Eternal launched with a Battle Pass-like progression system. It was free and only featured a handful of levels, but the rewards were worth the grind so it worked out. Id Software has now launched Doom Eternal’s second Series, titled Coffee and Camo. Like its predecessor, it’s entirely free. You progress through the tiers by playing the campaign as you would normally, as well as the multiplayer Battle Mode. It also comes with the usual run of weekly challenges, which boost those earn rates considerably. Series 2 is available until May 14 and includes weapon skins, the Camo skin for the Slayer, the Toad King skin for the Pain Elemental, and the bizarre Hipster Archvile - which should hopefully make encountering one of those more funny and less annoying. And, of course, you’ll also find a few icons and name plates. As part of today’s release, id Software confirmed that details about Doom Eternal’s first major patch are coming soon. Until then, you can check our guides for Exultia and Hell on Earth to see if you missed any collectibles.
